Richard Wheatley is a qualified (Chartered) Engineer, available for projects and other assignments UK and worldwide.   He specialises in consultancy to organizations wishing to make better use of Standards, Testing and Quality at a company, national, or even Regional level.  These can include Private Companies, Trade Associations, Government Ministries and a range of International Donors and their projects.

His depth of knowledge, insight and creativity have proved able to find innovative, pragmatic solutions in a variety of areas.

His initial experience was in Engineering with practical experience with SME's in reaching international markets. 

The experience in marketing and differentiating specialised products to Petrochemical, Defence and other Markets procuring equipment against Standards led to an interest in Standardization, and a career of nearly 16 years working for the British Standards Institution (BSI) in a variety of roles.

He now works as a freelance consultant.
